Staying HealthyAlcohol
Local partners including NHS North Yorkshire and York, The Borough Council and the Cambridge Centre have worked together to develop a media campaign that highlights the problem of home drinking. The campaign links to messages within national campaigns but uses quotes from local people and is specific to the Borough of Scarborough (Scarborough, Whitby and Filey). The campaign is intended to:

Local Alcohol Services The following local non-statutory services offer confidential, free, advice, information and support for anyone concerned about their own or anyone else’s drinking. They accept self referrals or referrals from professionals.
In addition, statutory community alcohol services, providing assessment, management, community detoxification etc. are available across the county. They can be accessed by a health professional or by contacting the above non-statutory organisations. |
