Guidance for Use of Antimicrobials in Primary CareGuidance for Use of Antimicrobials in Primary Care

We are pleased to announce the launch of the revised and updated edition of this guidance together with a brand new antimicrobials reference poster.  Please note that some drugs and doses within the new guidance have changed as well as information on investigations, and in particular the information for Clostridium difficile infection which is increasing in incidence across North Yorkshire.

This is a working document for use by all North Yorkshire prescribers and those involved in advice to patients on antibiotic use.

We would like every prescriber in North Yorkshire and York to have their own free personal copy of the new Guidance and poster.  If you do not already have a copy, please complete the order form and return as soon as possible to ipccommunity@hdft.nhs.uk.  You can order multiple copies to enable you to have copies for the office and car, etc
