Scarborough, Whitby and Ryedale Substance Misuse Tender

Most of the adult drug and alcohol services in Scarborough, Whitby and Ryedale are managed by the North Yorkshire Substance Misuse Partnership Board (the Board). This is a multi-agency partnership between NHS North Yorkshire and York, North Yorkshire County Council, North Yorkshire Police and the North Yorkshire Probation Trust.

The Board currently commissions over £1.2million worth of drug and alcohol misuse treatment services across the Scarborough, Whitby and Ryedale area from a range of different agencies.

The Board has decided to put these services out to tender. This process is being led by NHS North Yorkshire and York and the closing date for applications is 7 October 2011.

An advert was placed on the Official Journal of the European Union (OJEU) and on the supply2health web sites on 1 September 2011.
